Screens are fast, but cardboard is honest. A short essay on the slow tools that keep our design process grounded.

What happened

Over the past months the whole studio has been involved — from the first sketches on butter paper to the final presentation boards. It has been a reminder of how much good work depends on many hands and long conversations.

We are grateful to our collaborators, engineers and clients, and to everyone who visited, questioned and improved the ideas along the way.

What comes next

We will share more drawings, photographs and process notes here in the Journal. If you would like to talk about the project, or about one of your own, write to us at studio@hena-architects.com.
